Ignite National Technology Fund

Ignite National Technology Fund, under the Ministry of IT & Telecom, is driving Pakistan’s transformation into a competitive & inclusive digital economy powered by innovation and entrepreneurship. Ignite's National Incubation Center (NIC) network, which has supported over 2,000 startups, created 190,000+ jobs, and mobilized Rs 30.8 billion in committed investment. With NIC Islamabad recognized as an ITU Regional Acceleration Center and the launch of WISE Labs, Ignite is deepening global linkages and expanding women’s participation in tech. In the creative economy, Ignite and HUM Network have established the Center of Excellence in Gaming & Animation (CEGA) to incubate 200 startups, train 10,000 professionals, and provide a world-class collaborative workspace. Ignite also helps startups scale globally through BridgeStart Pakistan, the Pakistan Startup Fund. On the talent side, DigiSkills.pk has delivered 4.5 million trainings, while national competitions in AI, programming, and cybersecurity continue to strengthen Pakistan’s digital workforce. DigiSkills 3.0 more practical content, and a sharper focus on emerging technologies, targeting 0.9 million freelancers in FY 2025–26 & an additional 3 million over the next 3 years. The upcoming AI Wrapper Competition will further showcase Pakistan’s applied AI potential. Ignite: empowering entrepreneurs, skills, and tech for a digital Pakistan.
